Anuga returns to Cologne from 9–13 October 2027, bringing one of the world’s largest gatherings of food and beverage businesses back to Germany.
The scale of Anuga puts it in a different category from many trade exhibitions.
Organisers describe the show as ten specialised trade fairs operating under one roof, with the previous edition bringing together more than 8,000 exhibitors from 110 countries and more than 145,000 trade visitors from 190 countries. Some 94% of exhibitors were international.
For international beer brands, this global reach is important.
Beer distribution increasingly involves businesses operating across multiple markets rather than individual domestic territories. Anuga therefore creates opportunities to meet wholesalers, foodservice operators, retailers, distributors, importers and international buying groups in one location.
The show is also valuable for understanding wider food and beverage trends. Changes in low- and no-alcohol consumption, packaging, sustainability, convenience, premiumisation and retailer strategy frequently affect the beer category alongside the wider drinks market.

Anuga 2027 will take place at Koelnmesse from 9–13 October. Trade visitors will have access to the exhibition from 10am to 6pm throughout the five-day event.
